Milacron will also start delivery of its extended injection product portfolio including the Magna Toggle Servo (MTS) and Elektron EVO from Policka, to support growth and customer demand as a result of the successful launch at Fakuma last year.

Milacron's Policka facility is more than 11,000 square meters, with an addition in the works that will add another 4,000 square meters. The facility is run by an experienced and skilled crew of more than 90 employees. The labor force has more than doubled since opening to meet production demands and the rapid increase in recruitment was successfully done with a local open house where more than 1,000+ visitors toured the facility and applied for work.

Most recently, the company’s production progress has allowed the Policka facility to ship an remarkable number of blowmolding machines to customers in European countries, South America, China and the United States, and are now successfully producing high-quality parts in production environments. In efforts to ensure a robust and efficient supply chain to complement the progress of the site, Milacron said it continues to evaluate strategic suppliers. To date there has been a 100% on-time delivery of all machine orders.

The facility represents an investment of over €15 million to serve the growth of the European market, and allows Milacron to offer high-speed deliveries and support to customers all across Europe.

"Our investment in Europe is imperative to support our growing global customer base. Our goal here is simple; to be the European leader in blow molding system manufacturing." said Ron Krisanda, Chief Operating Officer, Advanced Plastic Processing Technologies.

Milacron's Uniloy brand will also continue to manufacture blowmolding machines at its facility in Afton, OH. The systems are designed and engineered in three technology centers, Berlin, Germany, Magenta, Italy, and Afton, OH.
