For the first time, an injection molder in Minnesota has received the state Pollution Control Agency’s Green Star Facility Award. Minneapolis-based Diversified Plastics Inc. (www.divplast.com) earned the recognition following an audit of its facility that acknowledged compliance with all applicable environmental requirements. The award is given to manufacturers for stewardship in managing hazardous waste and disposal.

Diversified Plastics molds tight-tolerance parts for water, air filtration, medical, and consumer applications on machines up to 550 tons in PPS, PEEK, Torlon, and Ultem materials, among others.—[email protected]
