NP_Instalok_ac.gifWith a simplified design and durable construction, the Instalok coupling allows molders to insert tubing in a material-conveying line and then tighten one bolt at a time instead of the more labor-intensive three-bolt coupling designs. The interior seals or O-rings are well integrated into the coupling so they won?t fall out or catch on tubes. Instalok is also said to have a clamp design that features tighter contact for less movement and vibration. The couplings are made from galvanized steel to resist corrosion, and the sizes range from 1½ to 4½ inches in outer diameter. The self-aligning design of the Instalok is said to eliminate hangup points and prevent streamers or particle buildup.
