A portable line of screenless beside-the-press granulators combines low-speed energy-saving granulation with two sets of blades for more consistent regrind. The line has cutting-chamber sizes of 10 by 9, 10.5 by 13.5, and 18.5 by 15.5 inches. Maintenance is reduced through the elimination of screens that must be replaced, and the compact footprint allows the unit to be easily integrated into a shop.
Swivel casters also add mobility. Interlocking front doors allow quick access to the blades and cutting chamber, and a steel damper plate reduces noise and features two limit switches and an emergency shutoff button with integrated thermostat to prevent overheating. Standard on the line are 1-, 2-, or 3-hp low-speed gear motors with a dust-tight enclosure. Cumberland, South Attleboro, MA, USA; +1 508-399-6400; www.cumberland-plastics.com
