Extruder manufacturer Leistritz's annual Twin Screw Extrusion Workshop on Dec. 1-2, 2010 in NJ offers a broad range of outside experts to talk on topics of importance for extrusion processors.

Just a sample of the presentations:

- Christian Guckel, from BASF Switzerland, will talk on a recent study of organic pigment processing on twin-screw extruders.

- Bay Plastics Machinery's Jason Forgash presents on new developments in pelletizing.

- Tom Nosker of Rutgers University will speak on research at Rutgers involving recycling and natural fibers.

- Compounding of bioplasticPLA will be covered by Jim Nangeroni of NatureWorks.

-Bill Thiele, who retired from Leistritz with 40 years of experience in the industry, will share what he learned.
