Web-exclusive: Alloy Polymers names Chiappone CEO

Compounder Alloy Polymers (Richmond, VA; www.alloypolymers.com) announced in early August that it has appointed its president and COO, Charles M. Chiappone, to the post of CEO, replacing the late founder, Subhash Pahuja, who passed away in May 2007. Chiappone will keep the title of president.

In his two years with Alloy Polymers, he has played a key role in expanding the company's service offering and developing and executing the company's acquisition strategy, including the recent acquisition of A. Schulman Inc.'s Orange, TX toll-compounding facility, according to the company.
