It took 27 trucks to ship this 860,000-lb toggle coinjection molding machine to Ford/Visteon's Milan plant. With a clamp force of 4000 tons, this Engel machine can be used as a standard, single-color machine with a single barrel; as a two-color machine; or it can be used for coinjection. Simultaneous or sequential coinjection is operator selectable.

The coinjection head may be removed and both injection units used for two-material applications. It has gas-assist and injection-compression capabilities. The gas assist may be triggered for either injection unit.

The injection-compression program for either injection unit can be activated by position or by time.
