Core pins target medical molding

The medical molding industry has a new line of miniature core pins. The pins, intended for manufacturing syringes, taper luer components, and catheters, feature multiple complex steps, counterbore style heads, end detailing, and flat work.

Precision form ground from M-2 and 300 or 400 Series stainless steel, they can be made in sizes as small as .010 inch in diameter in lengths of .5 to 8 inches. They provide +/-.0001-inch tolerance in diameter and +/-.001-inch tolerance in length. Pins are priced according to material, size, style, complexity, and quantity.
