npe3.jpgWhat's Hot! Featured will be the new Series SY (Mar '00 PA, p 18) dual-voltage hot runner temperature control system that combines 240 v ac and 24 v ac into one mainframe cabinet. Designed to accommodate Athena Series RMB or AIM 15-amp hot runner controllers, and to replace existing low-voltage systems, the Series SY features a special safety interlock that prevents insertion of a 24 v ac control module into a 240 v ac mainframe slot.

Existing Products On Display The RMB control module (Jul '99 PA, p 12) is a microprocessor-based PID hot runner temperature controller with a newly designed operator keypad and two large LEDs for indication of setpoint, process temperature, and diagnostics. Three discrete LEDs illuminate to display heater output, alarm, and manual mode.

Other news: Series C temperature controls (Jul '99 PA, p 11) are now DeviceNet and Modbus compatible. The company will also show Series IMP and AIM hot runner controller modules, Series HRC hot runner control computers and Tudor temperature sensors. Circle 212
