Borealis launches new business unit for automotive battery development

Polyolefins supplier Borealis (Vienna, Austria) has launched a new business unit, Mobility, which includes all of its automotive-related operations, to include its work on development of new automotive batteries. The new BU is led by Harald Hammer, previously CEO of Borouge Marketing Company. Borouge is a joint venture established in May 1998 between the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Borealis.—[email protected]
