Private equity firm ShoreView announced this week that it has bought Garner Industries, a manufacturer of level measurement sensors and supplier of custom injection molding services based in Lincoln, NE.

Founded in 1953, Garner goes to market under the BinMaster brand, selling radars, 3D level scanners, point level sensors, and other test and measurement devices to a range of industries, including agriculture, plastic and resin, cement, food processing, mining, and bio-energy. As a component of its growth strategy, Garner will actively seek add-on acquisitions in the test and measurement industrial technology space with complementary product offerings and technologies.

Garner also has a significant injection molding footprint, offering plastics processing services for small to medium size parts. It is equipped with dozens of injection molding machines ranging in size from 35 to 500 tons.

Garner is the eighth platform investment in ShoreView’s latest fund, ShoreView Capital Partners IV, L.P., which was activated in March 2020.

ShoreView partners with family- and entrepreneur-owned companies across various sectors with revenues typically ranging between $20 million and $300 million.
