With live trade shows still in sleep mode across vast swathes of the world, many companies have migrated to the virtual realm to present new products and equipment. Such is the case of Bausano, a maker of custom plastics extrusion lines, which will demo its MD Nextmover 125/25 twin-screw extrusion system online on April 28 at 12 PM Eastern/11 AM Central/9 AM Pacific.

Vice President Clemente Bausano will introduce the company and discuss its growth plans to open the live stream, followed by technicians who will present the two Multidrive-powered MD Plus and MD Nextmover lines. They will put the MD Nextmover 125/25 extruder through its paces, showcasing the 800 to 1,000 kg/h production levels that can be achieved. They also will explain how the system can be configured for various production ranges and profile the extruder’s Smart Energy System, an innovative contactless cylinder heating system that delivers energy savings of up to 35%. A Q&A session will conclude the presentation.

“Our online demonstration is an opportunity for US and Canadian operators to see our newest offerings and hear how we’re responding to the needs of customers in North America,” said Bausano. “The position of the United States as the eighth largest plastic processing sector in the world is why we have strengthened our presence in North America. As we lay the foundation in a dynamic US sector, we are well positioned to accelerate our growth in the market.”

Bausano’s MD Nextmover extrusion lines are suited for the production of pipes, granules, wood-plastic composites, profiles, and materials used in the medical industry, said the company. A key differentiator of Bausano’s extruders is the ability of in-house engineers to customize every single component, including aesthetics, based on the specific needs of the customer.

In January 2021, Bausano announced its next-generation lines of twin-screw extruders in the United States and Canada. Bausano also recently launched a new training program for specialized technicians at its Houston and Oswego, IL, dealerships. It plans to install twin-screw extrusion lines in showrooms of the company’s reselling partners this fall.

Bausano’s headquarters are located near Turin, Italy, and it operates production sites in Brazil and India.
