Davis-Standard expands global extrusion systems footprint with Maillefer acquisition

Davis-Standard LLC (Pawcatuck, CT) announced today that it will acquire Maillefer International (Vantaa, Finland), a global supplier of wire, cable, pipe and tube production technologies. Maillefer has manufacturing and service facilities in Finland, Switzerland, China, Russia, India and Egypt.

Davis-Standard designs, develops and distributes extrusion and converting technology to a global customer base. It operates facilities in the United States. China, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Pending regulatory approvals, the transaction is scheduled to close in late August or early September.
