Vertical injection molding machine supplier Gluco has announced a partnership with Chen Hsong whereby Gluco will be the Hong Kong-based company's exclusive distributor throughout the United States and Canada.  

For Gluco (Jension, MI), the partnership lets it vastly expand its product offerings to include a much broader range of horizontal molding machines. Gluco already represents a Taiwanese manufacturer of vertical and small horinzontal machines, but with Chen Hsong it now offers machines with clamp forces ranging from 20 tons up to 6500-ton dual-platen presses.

In answer to questions from PlasticsToday, Doug Grotenrath, sales manager at Gluco, says that Gluco has been working with Chen Hsong since March of 2010 but just recently completed all sales agreements to become the exclusive agent for that company in the United States and Canada. Gluco now is updating its website to include information on the Chen Hsong machines, he added.

Gluco will handle sales, installation and service to all Chen Hsong machines sold in the U.S. and Canada, and also will stock spare parts for the machines.
