To accommodate plastic injection molds that are becoming larger and more complex, Hansen Metal Fabrication (Farmington, NY) reports that it has developed an innovative line of mold assembly stations for moldmakers and plastics processors.

Hansen mold assemblyThe systems handle large molds in 1 ton increments from 1 to 4 tons. The mold assembly stations feature engineer-certified structural integrity to safely handle rated mold weights, a movable table on large easy-roll casters, and easy access to the mold. Each system is modular and can be easily installed on site by millwrights.

System accessories include a rated chain hoist, airline and electrical accommodations, and a sheet plastic table protector.
