At NPE: Free moldfilling analysis; chance for $50K injection mold

You can always find a variety of molded buckets and cups to take home from NPE, but during this year’s show two exhibitors, Vero USA, provider of CAD/CAM/CAE software for the tooling industry, and moldmaker Canon Virginia Inc., are raising the value level—and with prizes that only a plastics pro could want.

At NPE: Free moldfilling analysis; chance for $50K injection mold

Vero is inviting show attendees to visit Booth W133047 from 3-5 p.m. with a part file in hand to receive a free plastic flow analysis—first come, first served. Vero’s Visi Flow 17, the new version of the moldfilling analysis software that Vero terms affordable injection molding simulation, now includes CAD capability that speeds up and simplifies the evaluation of design changes. It also now offers overmolding simulation and crosslinking polymers, including LSR.

Meanwhile, in Booth S32061 Canon is giving NPE2009 visitors the chance to win up to a $50,000 credit toward the purchase of one quoted mold. To enter, swipe your attendance badge at the Canon booth. Then submit an RFQ for a mold to Canon before Sept. 30, 2009, and the winner will be randomly selected from the RFQs in house at that time. A company can submit multiple RFQs, and if you are not able to get to the booth, you can enter by filling in a form on the company website. [email protected]
