Although it boasts data sheets for more than 40,000 plastics, the creators of the latest Prospector Pro materials procurement and information tool say the software has much more to offer than just technical specs on resins. An entirely new platform is said to provide improved searches, sourcing, supplier and distributor information, RFQs, samples, and purchasing capabilities.
Added features include customizable searches, quick searches, power searches, and design data searches. A sequential search function allows access to specific results applying uses, processing method, flammability, and distributor as criteria. Prospector Pro also has computer-aided engineering data including stress vs. strain, flow analysis, and resin testing.
