"This name change represents the culmination of much hard work by the employees of both the Phillips Plastics and Medisize enterprises," said CEO Matt Jennings in making the announcement. "We will work with our customers, regulatory agencies and suppliers over the ensuing months to effectively execute this name change."

As a result of this change, the company's new domain site will be phillipsmedisize.com. However, the company said it will continue to operate both medisize.com and phillipsplastics.com domain sites for the foreseeable future.

Phillips-Medisize is headquartered in Hudson, WI and employs more than 2,100 people in 19 locations throughout the United States, Europe and China. The company also has design centers in Wisconsin, California, and the Netherlands.
