BASF forms global brand for PUR ops
A new brand, Polyurethane Solutions, will be used for the plastics supplier’s global polyurethane operations, a move it said will help increase its corporate brand for PUR processors throughout the world. BASF is one of the world’s largest suppliers of PUR; major competitors include Bayer and Dow. BASF’s PUR operations include more than 35 system houses.

Probably the most concrete step of the new branding is that it harmonizes branding in Europe for BASF affiliate Elastogran GmbH by using the BASF corporate brand for all Elastogran sites.
BASF says it will continue to use the Elastogran name to market polyurethane services in Europe. —[email protected]
