Motan-colortronic GmbH (Friedrichsdorf, Germany) has announced that its ATTN automated temperature and dew-point control system is now a standard feature of the company's Luxor A range of dryers.

motan-250.jpgATTN is designed to ensure that the air that is drying the thermoplastic granules remains at a constant dew point. The system is generally installed in the dry air generator and is set to a specific dew point between -30° and 5°C. This preset value is then stored.

The ATTN system can be used with single and multi-bin drying stations.

The company recommends combining the ATTN system with its ETA plus product, which controls air volume and drying temperatures. By working in tandem, the systems achieve optimal drying conditions at a constant dew point.
