The new business – Entek Plus – will be an operating unit within Entek Machinery and have Entek veteran Tammy Heider act as its business development coordinator.

Extruder Entek has launched a new parts and service division.

After adding several new machining centers to its own manufacturing center, Entek now has additional capacity to supply wear parts for co-rotating twin-screw extruders more quickly. Specifically, the company can supply screws and barrels from a variety of metallurgical options. In addition to the supply of wear parts, the company can also replace control systems, installing new Allen Bradley based products, as well as train employees in maintenance/setup/operation; use Entek’s lab for formula development; retrofit existing machines with side feeders, vacuum stuffers, new dies, and feeders; and use its turnkey plant engineering services to re-design, construct, and install new peripheral systems that increase efficiencies.—[email protected]
