Getting alignment right

Looking to align equipment precisely at right angles? The 90-Line Square Plane from Pinpoint Laser Systems (Peabody, MA; www.pinlaser.com) may be the right solution. The vendor says that when coupled with its Laser Microgage system, the 90-Line Square Plane forms a precise right angle laser reference beam that allows quick and precise equipment measurement and alignment. The nosepiece of the 90-Line, and the right angle laser beam projected from it, can be turned through a full 360° rotation to define a flat reference plane. The combination provides measurements accurate to 0.0001 inch and can be used over ranges up to 180 ft. A digital interface connects directly to a computer for downloading readings and generating alignment and measuring reports. -[email protected]
