The In-Mold Decorating Association announced Mike Ferrari of Ferrari Innovation Solutions, LLC, as its keynote speaker at its 2014 IMDA Symposium and Exhibit, October 22-23, 2014. The event will be held at the DoubleTree Chicago North Shore Hotel & Conference Center in Skokie, IL. The theme for the 2014 Symposium is "IML/IMD - Concept to Completion: How IMDA Awards are Won."

IMDA symposium to feature keynote speaker Mike Ferrari

Ferrari's presentation is "The Golden Age of Print: How IML/IMD can Prosper." Ferrari had a 32-year career with Procter & Gamble, the last 15 years as global R&D associate director of packaging & print decoration development. Through his company, Ferrari provides his clients with brand building ideas through packaging; package printing and decoration, and creating the supply chain of the future. His clients include consumer product companies, printing and converting companies, and OEMs, among others.

The IMDA Symposium is a unique event offering a fascinating look inside successful IML and IMD projects that produced the winners of the annual IMDA Awards competition. Presentations and interactive workshops will show how these innovative companies made the transition from design concept, through prototyping, to the final award-winning, in-mold decorated product.
