Tempe, AZ-based custom injection molder MedPlast has expanded its Westfield, PA facility to include a 45,000-ft2 cleanroom, which houses Class 100,000 and 10,000 molding and assembly operations. The expansion brings the amount of space the facility dedicates to cleanroom production to more than 60%.

Tempe, AZ-based custom injection molder MedPlast has expanded its Westfield, PA facility to include a 45,000-ft2 cleanroom, which houses Class 100,000 and 10,000 molding and assembly operations. The expansion brings the amount of space the facility dedicates to cleanroom production to more than 60%.

The Westfield facility processes thermoplastics and elastomers for customers in the healthcare and medical device industry, specializing in medical and surgical disposables such as syringes and other components used in fluid and IV delivery systems.
The processor only recently announced an expansion and new toolroom upgrade at its West Berlin, NJ facility, and also is in expansion mode at its Tempe facility.
