Global petrochemicals prices rose for the fourth consecutive month, climbing 1.9% in September to $1388/tonne. On a year-over-year basis, the Platts Global Petrochemical Index (PGPI) data showed petrochemical prices were up 2.3% from the September 2012 average of $1357/tonne.
