A 3D simulation feature in the new Wincaps II offline programming software from Denso International America (Southfield, MI) saves you valuable development time by allowing you to design the layout of your automated cell in a virtual environment. CAD drawings can be imported and variables easily can be input or changed.

The software allows you to verify reach, determine obstacle clearances, detect collisions, troubleshoot and debug programs, and determine cycle time—all on an offline computer. It lets you remotely monitor workcell operations through real-time I/O status indicators and detailed control logs. Also, a panel design feature allows you to customize the robot control’s teaching-pendant display.
