ICE AP Series chillers reportedly provide maximum efficiency per square foot of plant space. They incorporate a high-flow process water pump that minimizes process temperature gradients. A top-mounted discharge connects to plant ventilation to supplement facility heating in winter and increase summer cooling.

The chillers offer capacities from 12 to 31 nominal tons and are designed for processes requiring chiller fluid temperatures from 20 to 60F. With the energy cost savings made possible by the reclamation of condenser heat, the chillers are said to typically achieve rapid payback.

The self-contained, air-cooled chillers also incorporate semihermetic compressors with cylinder unloading capacity control for precise temperature control and extended equipment service life. The steel shell is constructed to ASME standards; function status indicators are reportedly easy to monitor.
