Two new corrugators, UC58/90V and UC58/120V, provide quick and easy in-line production of protective pipes for crosslinked polyethylene (PEX) pipes, aluminum and PEX combinations as well as for cable insertion. The units produce pipe-in-pipe and direct insertion of electric wiring with diameters from 8mm ID to 58mm OD. The in-line production saves processors multiple work steps by integrating the final fabrication into the production cycle. Handling costs can also be saved, says the company.
