He is an internationally experienced, multi-lingual sales executive with technical background in composites and mold making, and also no stranger to social networking. One of my LinkedIn updates (the NPE trade show one, in fact) yesterday pulled my attention to the video resume of a gentleman seeking work. His 3-minute video is, he says, a means to round out the information contained in his written curriculum vitae.The video also is his way of letting far-flung friends and former clients and colleagues know he now is seeking work.

Welcome to my resume

Naturally we cannot highlight the resumes, video or otherwise, of every unemployed person in the industry, but I draw your attention to the video so you can see how some people are making use of social networks to increase their chances of finding work.
