Worn platen bushings can cause machine problems like sagging, clamp ram packing leakage, and lubrication problems. Epco?s new Split Movable Platen Bushings with weld rings can replace worn platen bushings without the need to remove the tie bonds. The bushings are made out of 660 bronze material instead of molded fiber, and the weld rings are drilled, tapped, and assembled by Epco.
