Conair debuted new equipment built around what it calls a "base-up" philosophy. This new approach to configuring equipment, applied across the board, is intended to satisfy all processors at the lowest possible price. Products and technology introduced at NPE 2003 included conveying (Tube Loaders feature a simple, tubular body that virtually eliminates material flow problems); central material handling controls (which give processors modularity, scalability, and connectivity); a new Thermolator system (now covering a series of .25- to 40-ton capacity portable chillers and temperature control units); dryers (new D-Series line of small dryers); and granulators (two new press-side products).
