Pad printing cup holders

A new, patented, and affordable ink reservoir system trademarked SpaceFrame from ITW Trans Tech (Carol Stream, IL) uses an aluminum frame structure to hold the economical PP ExpressLiner cups that supply its pad printing machines. Introduced last year, the injection molded ExpressLiners allow use of removable carbide or ceramic doctor rings. The SpaceFrame system significantly reduces the cost of entry to ITW?s RedStar MultiCup system pad printers, according to company sources.

It also reportedly allows pad printers that rely on magnetically securing ink cups to enjoy the benefits of its easy-to-clean and operator-friendly ExpressLiner product line, since operators can either use the disposable liner inside a conventional RedStar MultiCup or use them in combination with a SpaceFrame unit. SpaceFrames are available in ITW?s standard ink cup sizes, which include 60-, 90-, and 130-mm doctor rings. In addition, they?re available for mechanical or magnetic hold-down designs, as well as for its standard SealCup-style systems.?CK
