The Steinbichler T-Point CS is ideal for quality control/inspections (e.g. target/actual comparison for CAD dimensioning/boundary measurements of sheet metal parts); in tool and moldmaking (e.g. tool construction, scan data for generating cutting paths, current status determination after tools’ release, inspection of complex welded structures, setting up gauges and supports); in design (e.g. scanning design models for processing in CAD and documentation, capturing character lines, quickly capturing basic areas for adjustment); in rapid manufacturing when capturing 3D data for rapid prototyping processes as well as in capturing reverse engineering data when entering highly complex geometries.
