Web-exclusive: RP bureau adds 3D printer

Increasing its rapid prototyping service offerings, Design Prototyping Technologies (Syracuse, NY; www.dpt-fast.com) announced the addition of a Connex500 PolyJet Matrix system from Objet Geometries Inc. (Billerica, MA; www.2objet.com) for 3D printing. The system can print two of Objet's FullCure model materials simultaneously, enabling DPT to print parts and assemblies with different mechanical and physical properties in one build, according to DPT president Mike Rufo.
