Arburg breaks ground on new technical center in Poland

Arburg has broken ground on a new technology center in Warsaw, Poland with 800 sq m of useable floorspace, including a 240-sq-m showroom with room for seven Allrounder injection molding machines. Arburg has had a sales presence in Poland for 20 years, and the new site will more than double usable floorspace from the current 300 sq m. The facility is expected to be completed towards the end of 2014.

Arburg breaks ground on new technical center in Poland

Architecturally, Arburg said the new building will model the style of the Lossburg Customer Center, including a modular design and signature glass facade. In terms of environmental impact, the building has a green design, including geothermal energy and heat exchangers being used for climate control. Additionally, there will be an outdoor rainwater collection basin and an on-site wastewater treatment plant.

Arburg said customers from the automotive, packaging, electrical and electronics, and medical technology industries, attended the ground-breaking ceremony, including clients working in the liquid silicone (LSR) and powder materials (PIM) sectors. Slawomir Sniady, is the subsidiary's managing director.
