Instron's Dynatup SFS automates specimen conditioning, setup, loading, impact tests, and specimen removal after test. It consists of a specimen feeder system, an environmental chamber, test software, and electronics data system. The feed mechanism automatically loads specimens from the cartridge into the pneumatic clamping fixture. Sequential testing of up to 70 specimens in the environmental chamber is possible, eliminating soak time between testing batches and enabling testing to continue with minimal interruption.
