TecStar, which is the custom molding division of the MGS Mfg. Group, also provides a 94% on-time delivery rate and is able to handle very technically challenging transfer programs.
TecStar's offerings to Rockwell include moldmaking, multishot/multimaterial molding, standard injection molding, blow molding, and secondary operations. It has presses ranging from 28 to 880 tons and over 50 multishot molding systems in over 300,000 ft2 of production space in multiple facilities. Another factor in the award is that TecStar fits Rockwell's localization model by virtue of its production facility in Chihuahua, Mexico.
