E-shots Web-exclusive: Automotive kudos for Webster

Taking the next step in continuous improvement, Webster Plastics (Fairport, NY), a business unit of the Chomerics Div. of Parker Hannifin Corp., recently achieved ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification. Webster Plastics is a custom molder serving the automotive industry in its 75,000-ft² facility with 45 molding machines; products include transmission components, engine housings, cylinder head covers, and mechanical and electrical components.

The certification is an ISO technical specification that aligns existing U.S., Italian, French, and German automotive quality system standards and specifies requirements for design/development, production, installation, and servicing of these products within the industry.
