Gneuss Filtration Technology is bringing several of its continuous Rotary Filtration Systems to the show floor. Each features a filter disk with screen cavities arranged in a ring pattern. During processing, screens can be changed on the part of the filter disk that is not active in the melt channel.

The Gneuss filtration models on display will be:

• RSFgenius 250 from the company’s top-of-the-line portfolio. The 250 features an active screen area of 1350 cm² (209 sq. in.) to process several thousand kilos per hour, depending on polymer and filtration fineness. RSFgenius models boast integrated back-flushing systems for self-cleaning, as well as screens that can be reused up to 400 times. Filtration fineness under 10 microns/1200 mesh are available.
• SFneos 150, with an active filtration area of 450 cm² (70 sq. in.) for applications like foam sheet, battery separators, or PVC.
• SFXmagnus 90, with an active filtration area of 350 cm² (54 sq. in.) for applications like PET, BOPP sheet, and other sensitive materials.
