Additives tailor made for polyolefin molding, extrusion

Heritage Plastics' new Minapol additive technology, delivered in palletized mineral concentrates, is designed to improve the productivity, physical properties, and profitability of polyolefin molding and extrusion applications. The technology is used in polyethylene film extrusion, blowmolding, sheet extrusion, thermoforming, and polypropylene injection molding. The additives increase productivity of most polyolefin systems by increasing the material's thermal conductivity and decreasing energy requirements of the process. With proper selection of mineral-resin combinations, Minapol can improve key physical properties, which can lead to producing thinner parts that meet end-use requirements.
