Meusburger takes over PSG Plastic Service GmbH

Meusburger Georg GmbH & Co KG (Wolfurt, Austria ) announced that it has officially taken over PSG Plastic Service GmbH, located in Mannheim, Viernheim and Seckach, Germany, with a foreign branch in China. Meusburger is a global manufacturer of high-precision, high-quality standard parts for making dies, molds, jigs and fixtures. Like PSG, Meusburger is a family-owned company with a long tradition, and all 200 of PSG’s employees will now be part of Meusburger.

“We are pleased to welcome the employees of PSG into the Meusburger family,” said Guntram Meusburger, Managing Director. “With the takeover we have taken on board a strong partner with many years of experience in hot runner and control systems. We will continue to operate the company under the established PSG brand.

“After more than 50 years of a successful company history, the existing shareholder of PSG is happy to have with Meusburger a family company as the new owner, which can also secure a long-term future for PSG.”
