Extruder handles fluff compounding

A 10-inch, 36:1 L/D, double-vented extruder is designed for fluff or low bulk density compounding. It has a 1000 hp, a-c vector-duty motor, an oversized ram-fed hopper, stainless steel barrel guards, and a production rate of 15,000 lb/hr. The company can custom-design and manufacture machinery as shown in the photo?for example, this extruder is specially caster-mounted with an integral control system to allow linear movement.
