Conveyor drive speeds up belt indexing

A new electronic indexing drive package is designed to provide conveyor belt indexing at rates up to 60 cycles/min for a variety of automated and manual packaging and assembly applications. Available in 230V single- and three-phase models, each package consists of a low-inertia gear motor and variable frequency drive controller with variable speed acceleration and deceleration. The package features a modular controller that can accommodate photo eyes, PLC and PC connections, and other accessories. The indexing drives are compatible with the 2100, 3100, and 6100 Series, as well as LPZ low-profile conveyers.
