Tony Radoszewski, President and CEO of the Plastics Industry Association, made his remarks at a briefing titled, “Plastic Production, Pollution and Waste in the Time of COVID-19: The Life-Threatening Impact of Single-Use Plastic on Human Health.”
The submission is for a surgical mask incorporating Ascend’s patent-pending Acteev technology, which is more than 99% effective at deactivating SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, according to the company.
Boston Matthews completed the production and assembly of multiple machines ahead of schedule for a global medical device OEM. They will produce medical devices for the direct treatment of COVID-19.
