Dow announces leadership changes within its plastics businesses

The Dow Chemical Co. (Midland, MI) has announced changes to its leadership within its plastics units. Greg Jozwiak has been named Business President of the Elastomers and Electrical and Telecommunications businesses. Jozwiak previously held the role as North America Commercial Vice President for Dow Packaging & Specialty Plastics.

“Greg brings tremendous knowledge and experience to the helm of Dow’s Elastomers and Electrical and Telecommunications businesses,” said James R. Fitterling, Dow President and COO. “He is a proven leader within Dow, and his diverse experience will continue to serve as a catalyst for our growth agenda within these markets.”

During his time with Dow Packaging and Specialty Plastics, Jozwiak helped lead the approach of close collaboration with customers and across the value chain, which led to the development of many innovative packaging materials and technologies that tackled several packaging challenges. 

Karen S. Carter will take over as the North America Commercial Vice President for Dow’s Packaging and Specialty Plastics business. Her prior experience is within the plastics industry and has worked in the business’ value chain, sustainability and new business development initiatives. She will concentrate on developing opportunities to better serve Dow’s customers and the entire plastics industry.
