Extrusion gear pump ensures accurate output

PSI-Polymer Systems, in conjunction with Steve Fox, has designed an extrusion gear pump, which it featured at NPE. The pump design uses a one-piece, high-strength, tool steel gear and shaft. It reportedly provides precise displacement, lower energy consumption and processing temperatures, and higher output rates. It ensures accurate output while providing lower screw discharge pressure with minimal flow disruption due to in-line inlet/outlet ports.
