Plastics extrusion company Custom Profile reports that it is expanding production capacity and warehouse space at its Juarez, Mexico, operation.

The company recently signed a lease for a 27,500-square-foot expansion in Juarez, bringing its total footprint to 77,500 square feet. Custom Profile also plans to add up to 50 new jobs, including operators and support staff, over time and to purchase additional co-extrusion equipment.

The Juarez operation provides tubing and profile extrusion, over molding, and assembly services. The expansion is driven by steady growth of Custom Profile’s co-extrusion and in-line fabrication business supporting the home-appliance market, said the company.

Custom Profile is employee-owned and operates manufacturing facilities in Grand Rapids, MI, and Camden, SC, as well as Juarez. The company is specialized in the development and manufacture of specialty thermoplastic profile extrusions and sub-assemblies, and offers In-house tooling design.
