Hengst of North America Inc. expands Camden facility

Hengst of North America Inc., a manufacturer of filter systems for oil, fuel, air and cabin filtration for the automotive industry as well as filters for industrial and environmental technology, will expand its manufacturing facility in Camden, SC. This will be the company's third expansion of its 75,000 sq-ft North American headquarters facility since locating there in 2005, and will represent an investment of $8 million creating 20 new jobs.

Hengst of North America Inc. expands Camden facility

Hengst of North America is a global supplier to nearly all of the major vehicle manufacturers including Fiat Chrysler, General Motors, Frieghtliner and Paccar. The company's activities include assembly, machining and plastic injection molding. The new facility will house the company's distribution and warehousing operations, and is expected to be open by January 2015. 

In addition to the Camden facility, Hengst opened a Technical Center a year ago in Novi, MI. 

Hengst GmbH is headquartered in Munster, Germany, and has locations in Brazil and China, as well as the U.S. to service North America.
