A new guide, “Troubleshooting Injection Molding,” is offered. This guide outlines common factors to check when preparing to injection mold components. It examines the different types of surface defects that can be identified in plastics parts and looks at ways to solve these problems. Case studies and many figures are included in the report. The review section of this report is drawn from the Arburg Practical Guide to Injection Molding, which was published by Rapra Technology in 2004.
