IMFLUX has partnered with Milacron at K 2022 in Düsseldorf, Germany, next week to demonstrate its software on the Milacron eQ series press, and attendees will have something to show for it. As iMFLUX runs the demos at the Milacron booth (B31) in hall 14, visitors will be invited to create a custom krinkle bag from a selection of resins with variable viscosities, including 100% PCR, and a range of color options.

Demonstrations will feature the iMFLUX low-constant-pressure molding technology and will process various MFI materials with no operator intervention. The software’s Auto Viscosity Adjust automatically adapts the process to resin viscosity changes with each shot. The demos will take place at noon, 2, and 4 p.m. daily from Oct. 19 to 26.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Procter & Gamble, iMFLUX has also partnered with Moldex3D, which will debut a new iMFLUX feature at K 2022. Moldex3D has automated the simulation of the Green Curve of iMFLUX and will showcase the ability to find the lowest pressure required to fill a part. Using the Moldex3D Create Run Wizard function, simulation results of multiple sets of different pressures can be displayed simultaneously. Moldex3D can also simulate the pressure curve of iMFLUX PFA, the function used to adjust the melt pressure when the melt reaches the sensor position in the mold. More information on this new technology will be available at iMFLUX booth D23 in hall 15 and Moldex3D booth A94 in hall 13.
